They will be easier to taste if they are whole or halved. For a little variety try mixing in some other nuts with the cashews. Walnuts and hazelnuts are popular additions to this salad. Ingredients: 1-2 bunches broccoli 1 cup raisins 1 cup cashews-halved 1/2 cup chopped red onion 1 chopped bell pepper-any colour
Dressing: 3/4 cup mayonnaise 2-4 tbsp. vinegar 2-4 tbsp.sugar Cut up broccoli flowerettes into bite-sized pieces, leaving just a little stem. Cut up enough for about 4 cups of flowerettes. Add all other ingredients, dressing and mix well. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, toss salad again and serve.
