Green Pea and Cheddar Salad

This is a very simple green pea and cheddar salad but don't hesitate to add other ingredients to enhance it a little.

<<>>
I prefer to use extra-old strong white cheddar but use whatever you prefer.

The miracle whip can be replaced with regular mayonnaise or mayo with a little of your favorite mustard thrown in.

As with any salad the possibilities are endless.

Ingredients:

1 can peas
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup cubed or grated cheddar
2 tbsp.miracle whip
salt and pepper to taste

Drain water from peas and gently mix with all the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until cool and serve. Makes 3-4 servings.
