Rosalind Gardner's Super Affiliate Handbook Review

I'm putting this Super Affiliate Handbook review here because it was very instrumental in my building a web site.

The author, Rosalind Gardner, has put together a very informative and honest guide to becoming a successful internet entrepreneur.

She takes you through the process in a step-by step fashion from beginning to end and supplies you with links to a huge array of internet resources throughout the book.

The book begins by explaining Internet and Affiliate Marketing Basics. This section is a Must Read for anyone who is new to internet marketing.

Next is a section on Setting Up Shop which explains the hardware(computers, printers etc.) and software(browsers, e-mail, office programs) you will need to get started. Lots of free programs are mentioned here.

One of the most demanding and difficult tasks to perform in becoming a successful webmaster is finding a profitable niche to market. The next section, Research a Profitable Topic gives the reader a lesson in Keyword Research, Profit Potential, and Competition. She also supplies links to many keyword research tools available online.

The next 2 sections, How To Find Merchants and How to Choose Products and Affiliate Programs focuses on the do's and don'ts of affiliate marketing and supplies a top affiliate list of her favorite affiliate networks.

The next section is Plan and Build Your Site. Here you will find many do-it-yourself resources with good advice for site building, as well as information on a Good Web Site Package Deal that I used to build this site.

Making money in the internet is a definite learning curve. The next 2 sections of this book,The Job of Selling and 31 Ways to Market Your Site will give you some valuable insight on providing good content, achieving credibility and getting traffic to your site.

Keeping your online business organized is the focus of the next section, Manage & Grow Your Business. This section will help you with daily, monthly and yearly tasks. This includes keeping records, evaluating your site's performance, and money matters.

The final section is Resources and includes Rosalind's favorite online resources with a link to her free newsletter Net Profits Today.

Although I bought this book 3 years ago I still refer to it for insights I may have forgotten as well as the many great links to online resources such as affiliate directories. The book is updated as time goes on and buyers of the book are able to receive the updated versions as they come out.
